We're on a mission to make a miracle every day. As a token of our appreciation for making 2010 an epic year, we're giving away a high-quality 320Kbps download every day this November. That's 30 days of Dead! Intrigued? We're also going to put your knowledge to the test and give you the chance to win some great music from the Dead.
                                                     + More Info
You know your Ables from your Bakers from your C's, but can your finely tuned ears differentiate the cosmic "comeback" tour from a spacey 70's show? Each day we'll post a free download from one of the Dead's coveted shows. Will it be from that magical night at Madison Square Garden in '93 or from way back when they were just starting to warm it up at Winterland? Is that Pigpen's harmonica we hear? Brent on keys? Step right up and try your hand.

Each day, the first person to guess the venue & date correctly will get a Road Trips of their choice. If you’re not first but you've answered correctly, you will also be automatically entered for a weekly prize of THE WARNER BROTHERS STUDIO ALBUMS VINYL BOX (EXCLUSIVE EDITION) or a FORMERLY THE WARLOCKS boxed set. Log in now and enter to win!

weird that they repeated a song with so many great songs out there. at least they chose it from an absolutely awesome concert, jerry plays some sweet solos. the scarlet begonias is one of my favorites even though they skip a verse for some reason

Why A Repeat Tune?

Wondering why with all of the tunes to choose from and only 30 days, WHY a repeat tune? It doesn't make any sense. I'd love an official explanation...

Unbelievable!

This is what I logged in early to hear? Another 89-90 era Let It Grow? This one sounds worse than the 10/89 version we already got. I don't mean to complain, but of all the songs we could possibly get (a number of you have made wishlists, and most of those songs you listed I would LOVE to hear) we get this! I've heard many a Brent-era version of this song, and here his voice is totally shot. At least Phil's bass is worth listening to.

Bobby's lyrical flub early on is a giveaway here. It sounds from the cut at the end like they go into another song. I'm going with 7/16/90.

Thank You!

I am just grateful that the technologies have allowed those at DEAD.NET to share these files with the rest of us. We've come a long way from trading tapes.
For all the complainers I refer you to Rick Nelson's "Garden Party":

"You can't please everyone, so you've gotta please yourself."

One man's treasure is another man's trash. That's why unreleased materials are so great. You get pearls among the grains of sand.

Peace to all and Happy Holidays to everyone!

we already revived a Let it Grow

I am unsure about why they would give this to us, we already got this with the Tennesee Jed, I don't want to complain, but I really would like a scarlet begonias/Fire on the mountain
Morning dew
Wharf rat

Now there are only 2 days left
I am so hoping, they continue this for Christmas with 25 Days of Spectacular Holiday feats

I need a Miracle EVERYDAY

Everyday... I wish they had more versions of Unbroken chain, but from evrything I have read they only did this live in 1995..It would be nice to see if they had something hiding somewhere? Anybody else have Some requests for last 2 days?

FINISH STRONG WITH 2 JERRY DAYS of D/Ls

OVER half the downloads have been non- Jerry tunes days...including a mingleweir & Sailor>Saint (seems to show up on every OFFICIAL release).....

We fans would VERY MUCH LIKE TO HAVE JERRY TUNES for the last two days, if anyone is reading these posts.....obviously from all other posts on here a SCARLET>FIRE and/or EYES would be perfect...thx for the consideration

"Let it Grow" - "Rerun"

Beggars can't be choosers. Since when do you think you are entitled to only one version of a song??? Just sit back and enjoy and be thankful for what was GIVEN to you over this last month.

Comes a Time!

Let it Grow is great, and this is from one of my favorite eras, but a rerun is lame all the same. It's obvious that some years are being dismissed as less than worthy, and 1972 has been strangely ignored except for a B version. Comes a Time was played at my first show, it could save a show, define a show, etc. I really don't care what is played as long as it is different.

thanks Dead.net

...for the chance to win a Free Road Trip and Box Set and the FREE tunes for 30 days straight...it's generous any angle you look at it...why complain when it's free? The tunes are great and they haven't played Samba in the Rain or Wave to the Wind...I could only imagine the comments we'd have had then...well, there are 2 days left...tehe....
