Before Scarlet was joined to Fire in early 1977, it usually went into long, inspired jams before wrapping up, and this is one of the finest examples of this. The song itself is very good, but the jam out of the song soars. This is from the final show of the Grateful Dead’s Fall Tour of 1976.
