That I just went through all the shows this combo was played accept the ones that didn't have SBD for them and the ones that did have SBD's didn't match what is here so on that note I'll leave you to the hunting I'm off to bed so i can wake up and stuff myself full or Turkey

The wolf is making his rounds indeed, but you'll need a cryptograph to find him. The tease got it for me as well, yet I heard that he was traveling by train? The actual song choice fooled me...

Congrats Bradford from Wichita on the win yesterday! I was just listening to Dave's Pick 11 last night ....what a phenomenal show that is! Is it too much to ask to have 2 consecutive winners from Kansas? Hopefully not....

Heading out to see The Schwag tonight at The Uptown here in KC. If anybody is in the area, this is one of the best Dead cover bands in the country, and the annual Thanksgiving night show has become a KC tradition...3-4 hours of pure bliss! I'll be the guy in the front, drinkin beer and rockin out with my girl Mary Janes. Come say Hey Now!

Happy Thanksgiving Dead People!

If you want the chance to win a calendar or Pacific Northwest box set this is your year. Played this every year and this year is the easiest BY FAR. I appreciate you all. Happy food fest. My family is going to help feed the homeless today and hopefully other days too.

the "SBD" is hardly a choice to compare the Cumberland with...bad sound, too fast (6% according to archive comments) and the 'tease' is cut off. (Deadlist comments on the show does mention the tease). Listen to the voices when they catch a taper before China Cat to hear just how fast the recording is and how high the voices are....funny to hear the band backlash on the guy. Too bad there's not a better recording for this show....except for the screamer after Rider. Pig on Good Lovin' is energized and is listed as being on Download Series: Family Dog.
Being a day of Thanks...I give to the local food banks to help feed those less fortunate...no one should go hungry in this land of plenty

The key is in the song break/tuning figure out that song and there is only one choice.

Doesn't really seem like a combo that's fitting for the > symbol does it? Either way, great versions of both songs.

yeah, that caught my attention, too. just saw where deadbase actually has a comma instead of a >, so I'm gonna make an executive decision & edit out the > and change it to a ,
and the fun rolls on...

...er, source! Dave does it again!
Such enthusiasm, gotta just love that rollicking lead on Cumberland!
Interesting pairing so not tough to narrow down, but an adventure nonetheless. Trust your ears on this one, not the sync, and stay with it - not only does the sound improve markedly, but after DW the band goes off on quite a journey. Re: the "hint" - what other band could pull off foot stompin' county-folk Americana and then flow right into way out there psychedelic ramblings? Oh man, so much to be thankful for! Enjoy the fruits of the land and your families today, and may the four winds blow you safely home.

between this copy and the source I confirmed my answer from. Real high octane, sort of like hearing it through Neal Cassady's ears. But it was an interesting comparison. But don't murder me if I'm wrong.

Ever grateful for this band and this community and the yummy yams we get every day this month! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day with families/friends/feasts. Gone are the days when my supper was a bottle of whiskey; I'm over 3 yrs sober and loving every day more and more. The holiday season is getting easier to tolerate each year. Peace to all y'all!
