30 Days of Dead

Who needs a miracle everyday? We sure do and we bet you could use one too!

Consider this our gift to you for being so darn loyal... Each day in November we will be giving away a high-quality 320Kbps MP3 download. That's 30 days of unreleased Grateful Dead tracks from the vault, selected by Dead archivist and producer David Lemieux! Intrigued? We're also going to put your knowledge to the test and give you the chance to win a 2015 Grateful Dead calendar.

Most of you know the drill by now, but for those, that don't, here's the deal:

You know your Ables from your Bakers from your C's, but can your finely tuned ears differentiate the cosmic "comeback" tour from a spacey 70's show? Each day we'll post a free download from one of the Dead's coveted shows. Will it be from that magical night at Madison Square Garden in '93 or from way back when they were just starting to warm it up at Winterland? Is that Pigpen's harmonica we hear? Brent on keys? Step right up and try your hand all November long and win a prize while you're at it.

Today's Song

Lost Sailor>Saint Of Circumstance
Hint: A twofer of Bob Weir excellence…

All the years I've been collecting these downloads I've yet to get my favorite dead jam "Eyes of the World" (one of those epic 73 jams into Stella or China doll will do)
Dear Deadnet-please provide! After all I was on the original mailing list created on the skull n roses LP.

Driftin and Dreamin........

Lost Sailor....such a pretty song....one of Bobby's better tunes. And a nice pairing for sure. Would like to have heard more Sailor's and Lazy Lightning's over the years. But then, I reckon I'm just another picky Deadhead after all.....

Hoping for a Pigger tune to tie it all together.

Peace

im getting lazy

thanks for narrowing it down slightly. still have a cornucopia of choices to listen to but i love this pairing and could and will listen all day.
on the other hand lazy-sup is not my top ten pairing but this month i have found some affection for supplication after so many ro...listens
thanks hornsby and all u other aging experts...i b 53 and aging but expertise is hard when u have imperfect pitch, and cannot tell a diminished C from a sharpened F, major or minor.
