April 8 Wembley Empire Pool, Wembley
As great as the first night at Wembley was, the second night was even better. Played again before 8,000 fans, it featured one of the finest Dark Stars of the tour, as well as the "Cumberland Blues" that appeared on the Europe '72 2-disc compilation set.
Tune into a stream of "Dark Star" from this show.

Dark Star Listen to this song
One More Saturday Night
will forever remain a high point in the history of civilization.
(Dick Latvala probably said something similar, but with less restraint.)
A Dark Star for us this early in the run - thanks! What a great way to start the weekend!
you folks are causing me a problem, a problem i dont mind having...
you are slinging more great music my way than i have time for
between jams of the week, tapers section issuences, E72 free downloads... our cups are runnething over
i never listen to music at work but i couldnt resist a 72 dark star stream (on its anniversary taboot) ... really quietly
The Dark Star > Sugar Magnolia > Caution segment was on Steppin Out.
Just the way I like it.
Really nice Dark Star. Counting the weeks until my box arrives. Just read that Further is playing my town this Summer, unreal. Outdoor show 7 min from my pad. This Summer is going to jam.
Coconut Phil, living Free.
39 years ago at this very moment I was high as a kite and flying with the boys. I'd waited 7 years for this and it was all and more than I had expected; even the cavernous and uninviting Empire Pool couldn't detract from two nights of the most sublime music. Thank you guys - and Donna.
is for the ages. Caution heads straight back to 1968. Latvala's favourite. My favourite. The segue out of Dark Star into Sugar Mags is beyond exquisite and takes me every time.
It would be nice to include a small rainbow foot or ice cream kid icon next to songs in these lists that were included on the original E72 LP release, since that was such a classic itself.
Listening to all the samples, its clear what a milestone release this will be; everyone's singing and playing is so fresh and determined—they OWN these songs!
This set could obviously form the core of any GD show collection . . .
