He's buried in Alta Mesa Cemetary
I can make a straight line from my brother Leonard Smith to Pigpens grave its creepy,alot more syncronicity and unspoken things have happened since,plus I'm a wharfrat almost died from the same diease Alcoholism,sober nowdays,I wish he made it to A/A,but he live the Blues good/bad and hard living,he was real.Larry

I always wondered what the hell Pigpen said following the "Turn On Your Lovelight" track on the Live Dead album. It sounded like "...and leave it on." and I was right as confirmed by this autographed photo above. Long Live The Pig!!!
