Throw me in the whalehouse! I’ve always wanted to visit the Whalehouse- the closest I’ve come is brunch at the Electric Eel Condo. Of course then there’s the enjoyable marmalade and tea at the Bluefin Luxury Rentals. Here Jerry is demanding to be thrown in the whalehouse- it just increases my desire that much more for the long overdo visit.

Week of September 23-29, 2019

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from three distinct eras of Dead, 1973, 1990, and 1992.

Our first selection this week is from the classic and famous second night at RFK Stadium in 1973, from 6/10/73, where we have Eyes Of The World> Stella Blue; Big River; Here Comes Sunshine.

Next is the end of the show from the opening night of a three night run at Cal Expo in 1990, from 6/8/90, where we have Space> The Wheel> I Need A Miracle> Black Peter> Sugar Magnolia, US Blues.

Lastly this week, from 6/11/92 in Albany, NY, we have the entire first set, featuring Bertha ; New Minglewood Blues ; Row Jimmy ; Queen Jane Approximately ; Dire Wolf ; Beat It On Down The Line ; Loose Lucy ; The Music Never Stopped.

Be sure to check in with us next week for more music from the vault.
