I was not at this show but it is one of my favorite tapes.Scarlet-Fire is mezmorizing. Killer El Paso. Superior all over actually. Donna killer screaming during SSDD. Ithaca from this tour is more famous, but I like this show better.

Best dancing on the planet. The layout of the New Haven Coliseum allowed for lots of freedom to move about, to dance, to travel from place to place without being hasseled. Those were the days of tolerant usher/bouncers who just allowed the scene to happen. ...And the scene was happenin'. I think I was with George Lauria, Randy and Scooter at this one, George drove like a maniac from Waterbury to New Haven on a road that had previously taken the lives of two friends. A bunch of us from Farmingdale High on Long Island rented a private tour bus to take us to New Haven. That in itself was a "trip"! What a great show. Bertha, Music Never Stopped, Sugar Mag, and how about St. Stephen on your first show! WOW! Thanks for the memories! Ralph

I had waited in line overnight to score a bunch of tickets for my friends and wound up in row 20 center on the floor. However the sound board had used up our space and Andy the little floor general told us our seats were now in the nose bleeds. We took a stand against the New Haven police and I lost. I was cuffed and dragged away during Tenny Jed, missing one of the best shows ever. My friends were kind enough to bail me out for my Breech of Peace violation, but not until after the encore!
