I was there. 1 of 12 shows I saw in '92. The first set was one of the best I saw for that year. The Soldier Field show from a few days earlier that summer had my favorite second set with Steve Miller and James Cotton both guesting. All in all, I attended the runs from Copps Coliseum, The Palace (final Bruce shows), Soldier Field, Deer Creek (final To Lay Me Down) and Compton Terrace (return of Here Comes Sunshine). Right now, I sure do miss Jerry & Brent.

FIRST SHOW - 8/6/82 in St. Paul, MN Thanks for Sharing!
What a great treat to hear my first show in the Tapers Section! Ever since I've been on the bus and definitely enjoying the ride. The sound is much better than my tape. Thanks for sharing this Dave. More 80's!! Merry Christmas everyone!

Welcome back to the Tapers' Section, where this week we have music from 1982, 1989, and 1990, as we roll toward the end of 2015.

Our first selection is from 8/6/82 in St. Paul, MN, where we have the entire first set featuring Bertha > New Minglewood Blues ; Candyman > Little Red Rooster ; Bird Song > El Paso ; Tennessee Jed ; It's All Over Now ; Lazy Lightnin' > Supplication ; Might As Well.

Next up is the end of the first set from 8/4/89 at Cal Expo in Sacramento, featuring Built To Last ; Queen Jane Approximately ; Jack-A-Roe ; Cassidy ; Deal. This was the first Cal Expo show I attended, and it immediately proved to be my favourite west coast venue.

Lastly this week is the entire first set from 2/27/90 at the Oakland Coliseum Arena, featuring Let The Good Times Roll ; Feel Like A Stranger ; Sugaree ; Victim Or The Crime ; Mississippi Half-Step Uptown Toodleloo ; When I Paint My Masterpiece ; Bird Song.

I hope everyone's having a great holiday season, and we're looking forward to seeing you back here next week with more music from the vault.

Even I am surprised at the dearth of 80s stuff for DaP. Maybe Ebeneezer Scrooge is the guy behind the guy behind the guy, and ES doesn't like GD80s. not trying to bust yer chops SpBro, just saying the track record shows little 80s love, for true. saying again, even as a tepid 80s fan, I would love any Greek shows from 80s. 85 has lots of goodies. Maybe we will get Hartford 83 MSG 83 stay tuned. Meanwhile, go to the archive, i guess, or replay all the stuff you have. Happy Holidays to you all! Merry Christmas to all you Christmas people. and here's to a prosperous 2016!!! with two DaPs from the 80s. No matter what, I love DaL and DaP!!!
