King Harvest , great choices this week
when i checked this earlier in the week , I thought same thing, these would / could make 3 fine releases 3.1.70 3.9.81 3.11.93 75 percent of a dave's picks subscription, and toss in May 1977 show as final 25 percent

3/1/70 is brain fry. My favorite Bird Song resides on 3-9-81. A 3/9-10/81 Dave's Pick + Bonus would be mighty fine. The 93' show twinkles. Solid.

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead miusic from three decades, the 1970s, 1980 and 1990s.

Our first selection is from the 3/1/70 at the Family Dog in San Francisco, where we have this short but excellent sequence featuring Me And My Uncle, That's It For The Other One> Black Peter.

From 11 years later on 3/9/81 at Madison Square Garden, where we have the start of the show, featuring Feel Like A Stranger; Althea ; C C Rider ;Ramble On Rose > El Paso; Deep Elem Blues. I always enjoy seeing Deep Elem on a setlist, as they only played it about a dozen times after the acoustic versions in the fall of 1980.

From 12 years later on 3/11/93 in Rosemont, IL, we have the end of the first set, featuring Althea ; When I Paint My Masterpiece ; So Many Roads > The Music Never Stopped.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
