And when I saw
the Grateful Dead in Des Moines on 6-16-74, and Jerry walked out I thought "Hey, that guy looks like a chubby Dutin Hoffman." But then Garcia picked out that guitar, and the band began to play and the Wall o' Sound reared up.. oh my, oh my OH MY! Three sets that afternoon and I don't have to tell you that my feet weren't touching the ground as I left the show.
and when
i saw him at the International Amphitheatre in July,1974 i couldn't believe he was shaved and had a haircut, i figured they musta goten payed! lol i laugh thinking about it, i think we were about row 15 and remember him starting to talk and sounding like mickey mouse!! what did i take?? but was that not THE shittyist place for a concert!!!!
