If memory serves me correctly, this photo was taken BEFORE the huge rain storm. It was shot from the floor of Folsom Field along the flimsy fence set up in front of the stage. I was an incoming Freshman at the University of Colorado in September, 1972. This classic show was my second Dead concert.
At Folsom Field. I can only imagine how crazy it must have been!

I was standing behind you about 25 feet: did you get any crowd shots? Were you mingling with the STP people? They were really partying hard...
How about those nifty little packages that were tossed out to the crowd, from the stage?
This may have been after the rain shower, but then again, I'm not sure.....
