Was for sure the hottest day that I have ever been to a show on. Chunks of the asphalt were sticking to car tires because the tar was melting. Whoever designed this place was a fool. The stage faced to the west so the band had the sun directly in their faces the whole first set.
sigh...

If you really need me just reach out and touch me
come on honey tell me so.

That would be the Bob and Ray version, right?
Conversation is always more interesting than recitation, so speak your mind and not someone else's.

I was always amazed at how the temps would soar whenever the Grateful Dead came to town.
Excluding the Memorial Hall shows from December and February, all the summer shows were scorchers. Even when Phil was here, at Starlight in July 2 years ago, it was over 100!! On this particular July 4th, Jerry did a great job on Loose Lucy, to my delight.. Is this a Barry photo?
