I got this autograph at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta when Merle Saunders and The Rainforest Band rolled through town. Mearl hung out in the lobby and gave out autographs. He was a pure pleasure to chat and laugh with and he had a million dollar smile. I will miss him dearly.
