My Dog OREO - My BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD!!! :-)
Thats MY dog Oreo, My best friend!!! he LOVES listening to the Grateful Dead with me! He always comes running to listen when I play my guitar or put a dead cd on!! What a dog! He truly is mans best friend!

He is 13 years old now.. Still has a LOT of life and energy left in him! (Wish he could stay here with me till my end!!! :-( Sadly it doesn't work that way... We got him at age 2 from the local dog pound, he all ready had the name Oreo so I just kept it the same since he all ready knew that name! I am just happy, They would have put him down in less than a WEEK if we had not rescued him!!! So ANYONE OUT THERE LOOKING FOR A GOOD FRIEND!!! ADOPT ONE!!! SAVE A LIFE!!! I got the best dog ever that way and wouldn't trade my little mut for ANY pure breed EVER!!! He is Beagle and I THINK "Britney" spaniel mix.. odd mix, very UNIQUE!!! He is a protector but LOVES ALL my friends, visitors, girlfriends, etc... MY DOG CAN SENSE EVIL TOO!!! But just don't try to brake in my place he can be VERY PROTECTIVE for a little dog AKA he HAS sent pit bulls RUNNING in FRIGHT!!! Good dog to have on your side, trust!!!! :-)
(PS: the pitbull owner was SO embarrased lol)

my two old dogs were almost 15 and 13 when they died, a long happy life, but the hot summers took it out of them both in the end
i now have 2 youngsters who have a lot to live up to.
Nico,The Brute is a 14 month old German Shepherd and (?) we don't know yet, i have had him for a day, a stray from the village nice natured but terrified of Nico
I am sure he will get better, now i have to think of a name

I don't know how on earth I am going to deal with loosing my dog........ It will Be VERY HARD 4 me.... Its an inevaitability that I HATE to face, and I KNOW that life goes on and there is much mnore beyond this one life on earth for US and Dogs and other animals, and I know we all reunite in the end/begining (My beliefs LOL) for is the end not just the begining of something new and a new path into the foggy trail we can't quite see down(or choose not to look!) there but we KNOW in our hearts it is there and so are all of our loved ones may they be animal or human or alien (Lol) But 4 real it will be the worst day of my life and I just keep on trying to deal witrh that reality while NOT truly wanting to at all...... thats life..... More than meets the eye! My dog will never die as long as his memories and the way he saved me and my familys life so many times, I could never forget my dog, and thank god I can pet him now... tears.....
:-( He truly saved MY life many times when all around me was DARK and NOT HAPPY... Things are GREAT these days and I guess I'm gonna o walk m y dog while we have this rainy day outside to walk in! Peace all...
