Frankly. Also Big sniff and puddled-up eyes. Your point about not missing a second with 'em when they are young and want you still hits kinda close to home that right now am missing a hell of alot, not to mention doing some emotional damage probably.

Frankly, your picture hit me real hard, you are right life is too short to waste. My youngest son (21 years old ) was diagnosed with cancer last week and had surgery on thursday. Hopefully everything will be all right. Very scary time around here right now. Point is you have to enjoy every moment with your kids and everything in life for that matter. In the world today it seems we get our priorities twisted because of work, commitments, etc. I don't have kids but family, blood or extended, is what life is about. My blood family is "scattered" but hopefully one day they'll get it together. The small moments are what count...taking the time to listen, be together, share a meal or just relax sittin next to each other knowing the world is OK at that moment. We ALL need to slow down our lives and be with those that mean so much to us...life IS too short and you have to tell each other how you feel before its too late. From a simple picture, you have received some very deep replies. One last thing...there's an old saying that goes "You should never work faster than your own heartbeat"....just think how grate this place would be if we listened to that advice. Thanks for posting the pic and making us all think! Peace to you and your family...to all our families and friends.

Life is way to short to waste time ,, enjoy the time we have with our children.. we have no blood children but we did enjoy the time`s we had with our adopted kids ..my blood familly is also scattered, hav`nt seen any of them in so long i probobley would`nt reconize any of them if i bumped into them in the street ,, kind of shame ,, but this is life ..

Frankly ,, it is very nice to put a face with your name .. It`s almost hard to beleive Etaine is grown and playin in a rock band .. And off to higher his education soon ..They grow so fast ..
