My mother is from Killarney and my fathers dad was from Galway. I have never been but my folks go often and have some amazing photos. Thanks for sharing kid!

since you're so close

you might check out the Waterford factory which is close by (Waterford the town is not nearly as pretty as Cork, as I recall, but the glass wizards are fun to watch).

My paternal great-grandfather came from thereabouts.
