What totally hot shows and a great way to welcome me to the west coast. I moved from NY to Las Vegas in 1991 and immediately took advantage of my proximity to the bay area!
The 1st set Dark Star on the 1st of three shows was a sure telling of the fun that was to come! Bruce was also sitting in with the boys at this time and his playing was very magical at these shows.
The 2nd set of this night also was a rare treat starting out with a very mind blowing and psychedelic Scarlet > Victim > Fire! The band was for sure on fire!

Of all the Grateful Dead shows I attended, these 3 at Shoreline in '91 were probably the best. These shows always stick out from the rest. Maybe it was the set lists, maybe it was that '91 was a good year, but I think the fact that Bruce was playing with the band is what put these shows over the top. I'll never forget how he led the band into and out of songs all 3 shows! I remember how blown away we were by that Scarlet>Victim>Fire like it was yesterday!

This was the last show I went to, except I didn't get in. Went without a ticket, ended up hanging in the lot all night, which was pretty fun by itself. You could still hear the music pretty clearly outside.
