Dave's Picks Volume 2 Gallery
Get on the bus back to the summer of '74 as we explore the exceptional 7/31 show from Dillon Stadium, Hartford, CT - the selection for Dave's Picks Volume 2 - with a groovy gallery of photos taken by Jim Anderson and John Cantamessa. One of the longest, most exceptionally well-played shows of the entire year, the limited-edition 3-disc set will feature the complete performance and is due early May.
We got there and the croud was already in. I remember the pirate flag. A long seastones set sometime in the middle. Almost scared to hear this for personal reasons. O to be able to realy go back there. got to get one for me and one to give away. They wont belive it
thanks Zuckfun!!! I can't wait :)
Volume Two includes the Bonus Disc (for those who bought a subscription). If memory serves, it's a hand-picked selection of tunes from Landover, MD on 7/29/74. T-minus 4 weeks and counting...
Can't wait for the next shipment!!! Does anyone know if the bonus disc is coming with this installment? I remember a mention of a bonus disc...just not sure when it's coming.
Love the slide show and the tune! Can't wait to receive the 2nd of Dave's picks. Sure do miss the bus!
nice pics. no tie-dyes just regular clothes.
Sincerely I have no words to describe this amazing event with these pictures,I think really historic dead! Dead never came to Mexico but it's suffice to look at these pictures to know that our band is wonderful.
That really sounds nice, That wall brings back memories, I saw it at the Civic Center in Philly, a Huge Cylinder in The middle of room with more speakers behind them. They would set it up according to how they needed it, remember, There were 2 complete Wall Systems so that One group could be going ahead setting up next venue, while the old one was being taken down. I remember being astounded as to how big the thing was, HUGE!! This sounds like it is going to be a good one.
How come no one told me there was a 'play' button?! The sound here is so clear and full even on my puny computer speakers. More slideshows please, this one is great!
Somehow it did not appear that their wall of sound was complete, but I might be mistaken.
