Sorry you couldn't make it today. Lot of stuff regarding posters/artwork, which is right in my wheelhouse. Vault discussion was interesting. The physical vault is comprised of 4 racks, about 40 feet long and 25 feet high (!) categorized by format then date. Surprisingly, there are no centurions guarding the locked gate, no alligators in the moat! Quite a bit of discussion about the selection process for worthy shows. Too lengthy to go into here. Suffice it to say, they take that responsibility very seriously and genuinely aim to release superior recordings. Also discussed the limited edition aspect of some releases. It's all driven by the economics, and they feel like they're finally getting a pretty good handle on things so picks don't sell out as fast next year. They're pretty excited about a special release for next year. Interesting story about the Europe 72 box. During a meeting, of the 8 folks in attendance, a few thought that they wouldn't reach the 3000 unit break-even mark, and no one thought they'd sell all 7200 (Pinkus and Lemieux included!). The rest, as they say, is history.
