February 17 - February 23, 2012
Every Friday we'll be sending you off with a Jam Of The Week, hand-picked and delivered by tape archivist David Lemieux. Listen to it on the weekend. Listen to it at work. Listen to it all day long...but make sure you tune in or you'll miss out because these little nuggets will stream for ONE WEEK ONLY!
This week's Jam is from:
October 15, 1984
link failure and some unhappy reviews the last time this clip was posted. How about a mulligan in honor of the Masters?
To make sure folks don't miss out on a tasty bit of jam. Here is one provided. Enjoy the spacey sounds of 1974
Mayhaps the servers time travelled after some herbally infused liquid spilled into them from a cylindrical object...? I'll make new toast later & have Jam for lunch (I hope).
....cuz Jam of the Week has time-traveled again! I would not mind so much that this jam manages to transcend the laws of physics were it not for the fact that I need to revisit Hell in a Bucket again and again and... Wait, now I get it, I have died and entered Dead Head Hell, where I get front row seats, the wall of sound is in place, the drugs are perfect, the band comes on, and the set-list unfolds as: Hell in a Bucket, Day Job, Lost Sailer, Don't Ease, (a late) Looks Like Rain.....
Got my toast, where's my jam? It is Friday isn't it. It's my Friday tradition, download..er, I mean listen to the latest jam. Maybe they found out about people pulling it out of temporary internet files. I ain't got a Deadhead sticker on my Cadillac cause I ain't got a Cadillac, just a broke down Dodge. Who can afford these ridiculous prices they charge for these box sets? Somebody that can afford a Cadillac I guess. I download the listening party samples and call it good enough. Where's my Friday jam?
What? You mean it's not last year?
Not sure what's stranger...That I can comment on this page of last year's Jam, or the fact that I chose to. Anyways, here's to tomorrow's (hopefully) new Jam!
it's up now-- it wasn't a little while ago. But should work!
There's no jam or no no-jam this week?
