July 29 - August 4

Every Friday we'll be sending you off with a Jam Of The Week, hand-picked and delivered by tape archivist David Lemieux. Listen to it on the weekend. Listen to it at work. Listen to it all day long...but make sure you tune in or you'll miss out because these little nuggets will stream for ONE WEEK ONLY!
...I'm just glad to see Derek Bailey mentioned on the Dead site, yea for that! : )
Hey Man,

(god bless the grateful dead)
this is fun.
too bad my only attended shows in 88 were Tacoma (good, not great) and Eugene (forgettable, to say the least, except for a Jack Straw > Bertha second set opening pair.)
PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jerry was the engine, Phil was the transmission, Bobby was the tires.
Perhaps Phil can release a fragrance (Fatass Bass).
This is fantastic....hearing Garcia belt out Morning Dew just made my week...I like to come here and read the comments when they are about the music...Isn't that why we are all here ..THE MUSIC...Not all that other nonsense...about downloading ..or not and what is "right"
BTW I have over 3 years of the Deadpod..Great thing the Professor does with that...
as i read the grouchies earlier, i thought about the moment in the GD movie where the bearded dude says that to get a couple of picky deadheads to move on.
SAINT STEPHEN indeed!
free to download or for a week only, live in the moment and enjoy.
Wow, a lot of bad vibes here, it's " The Days in Between " be happy and keep the music on and the candles burning for Jerry.
Coconut Phil, living Free.
One of the best 3-day weekends in my life. Flew to SF from Tampa to meet up with good friends, great shows. I have the masters from all 3 nights and haven’t listen to them in years. I remember the bass completely saturating the hillside. We toasted Jerry’s birthday “In the Midnight Hour”. Thanks for the jam.
it's the show two days earlier
my bad
Someone after my own heart grateful prof!!!
Glad you like him too!!!!! Astonishing artist. His attitude, his approach to music, his humour! Man, i miss seeing him. No THERE'S a guitarist worthy of adulation.
Who else has played truly liberating improvisation and backed Morecambe And Wise?!!!!
