November 18- November 24
Every Friday we'll be sending you off with a Jam Of The Week, hand-picked and delivered by tape archivist David Lemieux. Listen to it on the weekend. Listen to it at work. Listen to it all day long...but make sure you tune in or you'll miss out because these little nuggets will stream for ONE WEEK ONLY!
This week's Jam is from:
September 25, 1981
I think lots of coincidence, definitely circumstance, is why a song "gets cut".recorders record in 15 minute segments,or the tape ran out before the Dead, the tape got ATE 20 years ago, was fixed & is still around luckily, also to preserve the GratefulDead experience as exactly as possible etcetc....i just wonder why a new jam isn't up yet.
I truly am grateful for all of the fantastic music that is posted on Dead.net. I do wonder why you would post something that is in the heat of a very hot jam (Music Never Stopped) and then it cuts right at the peak.
Again, please know that I appreciate the music, but it just killed the whole jam...when the Music Did Stop...in the hottest part of the jam.???
Thanks for what is there, though... :-)
A great mini-tour weekend!! Le High was stomping fun.
(A tough ticket, I recall angst, terror.)
Birdsong; BIODTL; Cumberland, Passenger, Althea
Looking forward to hearing the reviews of Dave's Fave's or Dave's Rave's Anything but Dave's Picks
Have a great weekend!
~ Passenger, Don't you hear me? Destination seen unclearly ~

Thanks and happy Friday, Dave!
