And On the 31st Day...
A place for the 30 Days of Dead folks to gather and continue their conversations when November has come and gone...
Just listening to Jerry doing some nice picking during West LA. Though we hate to admit it that stuff got slimmer as the years went by. Not braggin' here - at least you get to hear it if you wern't there. Glad those boys were copacetic!
Goodness !
Major points for obscurity for the snippet from the 4/19/83, ME. show !
Any PCM master is always welcomed, even with the problems that came along with that format.
It's an "OK" show, as I recall, (only ever heard a God-awful audience of it before now) But, is it me or is the speed dragging just a bit ?
It's hard to tell.... I may just be tweaking. (Always a possibility) :-)
Thanks so much David! I'm delighted to hear this tasty nugget from the only show the Grateful Dead ever played in my hometown! My parents were Purdue grads, and my mom was a senior that year. Alas, she didn't attend the show (at least not that she's admitted!).
All of the picks this week are gems. Keep up the good delving!
Matt

Look foward to Monday's much more because of Tapers Section. Thanks.
Now go feed those hogs before they worry themselves into anemia
Thankfully they only closed the first set with this song. There is no way that if they closed a show with a powerful rendition of this song such as this one that any of us would be able to safely get behind a wheel of any vehicle.
Thanks Dave!
this sequence is from the April 18th 1969 shows (thanks deadlist project)
Grate Tunes as always.
Thanks and have a great week!

Honestly, I cannot think of anything that one could be addicted to seeing every week as much as this. Thank you once again, for providing this music for us. It is a nice jump between the years.
