Tapers Section By David Lemieux

Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have 1980, 1982 and 1993 Grateful Dead music for you.

Our first stop this week is on 5/29/80 in Des Moines, IA, where we have the start of the second set, featuring Feel Like A Stranger ; Ship Of Fools ; Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World.

Next up we have a bit of a strange sequence from 5/23/82 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, featuring the start of the second set, and encore, owing to the way the master cassette is arranged: Scarlet Begonias>Fire On The Mountain, Satisfaction>Brokedown Palace.

Lastly this week is the start of the first set from 5/27/93 at Cal Expo, the third night of an excellent run of shows in Sacramento: Shakedown Street ; The Same Thing ; Dire Wolf ; Beat It On Down The Line ; High Time ; When I Paint My Masterpiece.

Be sure to join us here next week for more tunes from the vault.
