Tapers Section By David Lemieux

Our first selection this week is from the then-new Capital Center in Landover, MD, which had opened with an NBA game in December 1973. The NHL’s Capitals had not yet started play in the NHL, which would come later in 1974. From 7/29/74, with the Wall Of Sound, we have Cumberland Blues ; Scarlet Begonias; Jack Straw; Deal.

Next is second set music from 7/28/82 at Red Rocks, including two usual first set songs: Althea; Let It Grow > He's Gone > Truckin'.

Lastly this week is the start of the second set from 7/30/88 at Laguna Seca in Monterey, CA, where we have Victim Or The Crime ; Touch Of Gray ; Estimated Prophet > Eyes Of The World.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.
