in the band. I'm his age too. (hope for Marye & me) I remember being 710 in maybe September of '66 and Phil came in the the room, where a bunch of the band were hanging out, with a newpaper saying it is Brigit Bardo's 40th birthday. No one could believe how good she looked at 40. Then Phil said something like "Can you imagine us doing this still at 40?". No one could imagine it. Long strange trip, indeed. Sure am glad I caught that bus......grate ride.
The Dead is similar to me.
Better with age.
Different but oddly familiar, know what I mean?
I am not one to lament much about the good ole days, even though there were plenty, as I believe the best is still yet to come!
It's all a matter of how one wants to look at it though, don't ya think?
I'm six days younger than Weir, does that count?

Who would've thought? A funny story-in 1970 my ex & I fantasied (being 18 @ the time) about the future date of 12/31/1999 with the GD bringing in the New Year & millennium @ Winterland.....never 4 a minute imagining our home town band going world wide or anything else that happened along the way........Who would've thought?
