Apparently, she came back east for a family visit (or something) - and stopped into work for a visit. She's actually working as a Jr. Data Analyst (hey, at least it's work) - it's way below her, but it's easy & fits her carefree life. She's fishing every day & stocking up for winter & had some great stories about bear spray & how to ward off bears when they do that fake charge thing (raise your arms above your head and wave them & say "Go away bear" - or something like that) She said they did this because they were in a big group (like 6 people) - and her friend ran back to camp - and later, she asked him "so, did you think you were better off all by yourself, or with a group of 5 other people - and did you think that was the only bear in the area?" - that's right - the women are smarter! Anyway - I didn't really get much of a chance to talk with her - and then she was gone (again) - maybe I'll see her before she goes back to Anchorage.
