Hey All,
Just wanted to point out that Mike didn't actually tape this show, though it was his deck & therefore, his master. Greg Holtz & I did the taping. Mike was more of a wanderer & loved to spend the show walking around, meeting new people and enjoying the "colors" (nod, nod, wink, wink). Mike passed away a few years ago and will surely be missed. He was a kind soul with the heart of a child.
With respect to the technical difficulties, I have a first gen copy & there are no difficulties on it, other than the actual equipment difficulties at the beginning of "Don't Need Love", when Healy had to pull one of the amps out of the soundboard & replace it. We were taping right in front of the board (you were still allowed to then) & watched him pull it. You can hear a nasty crackle on the tape when it occurs. Other than that, the only cuts in the master were at the tape flip during drums/space. Not sure how many hands this went through before it got here, but......
Anyway, this was a fantastic show and the best I ever saw. I highly recommend it!
