The Table of Contents on the left is a very useful tool.

Features is the place to look for content on the Grateful Dead site: news, Taper's Section, and more.

Shows & Songs: pretty self-explanatory, but be sure to take advantage of the really cool My Shows feature. Just click "I attended" on the pages for the shows you attended, and voila!

The Archives: Artwork, photos, and other cool stuff.

The Band: Pictures, bios, links to band member sites.

Community: Extended family links, links to the most recent posts in the Forums, etc.

Forums: You Are Here

Store: Music and merchandise here!

"Shows by Year"

Didn't the "shows by year" function used to work differently...where I could actually pick a single year and scroll through just that year? Is there a way to still do that now? Or will it ever change back? Let's say I want to look for a specific show or run of shows in, say, 1978. Right now, it looks like all I can do it start in '65 and just try to jump 5 pages at a time or so and keep working my way through the years. Is there a better way?

if you go to your own Recent Posts instead of being ensnared by All Recent Posts, which is the same whether you're logged in or not and hence not very useful, you will find yourself on more familiar ground, I suspect. This came up in another thread just now.

Do I sure miss that handy little "Filter by..." thingy. Especially as I've been away for a bit and ignoring all the vine threads is a tedious, albeit trivial nuisance.

yes I did get a profile picture up. but I am trying to post to fan photo page. I upload and save and come right back to the fan photo upload page with no results.
Also, can't get into chat room. I'm asked to sign on, although I already am, and get a message "incorrect sign on". Thanks for any clarity you can send my way. jc

I can't get a photo to post either. Any help here?
I am trying to inquire about the photo I used for my "profile picture".
I found this brass ticket in my Mom's garage.
Was it really an annual pass to New Years Eve Grateful Dead Concerts at Winterland?
Or simply keychain type memorabilia?
Any info, much appreciated. T.U.

I guess this is the right forum....

email notification of a PM would be cool...
of course it would be a preference (select) thing

also handy would be a link on everyone's profile to their recent posts

I'm thinking this would help out in the vineyard quite a bit - tracking down someone that may not be checking in very often anymore (but has the goods)

let me take this opportunity to say to Marye - mods don't get any better - thanks!

I sat next to Jerry.
B.Bralove gave me a backstage pass of his cat.
