I am asking people to do what is RIGHT.
everytime I have EVER seen any violence in a show or festival environment, people-fans- in the immediate area, have made a point to have the person ejected/arrested..in this particular instance, for whatever reason, the venue security, chose not to do their jobs.
'no snitching' doesn't apply in attempted murder-ESPECIALLY when it does NOT involve drugs.
and i reiterate, the fact that i happen to distribute licensed items, is not relevant to the crime being solved.its of interest, yes, but I would expect people to assist with this, no matter WHO the victim was.

... and you quest for reparations may pay off, especially if the perps are from Mendo. at this time of year, if they are at all respected in that community. Something makes me think that they are marginal characters.

with that said: I have it on good authority, that flyers with the suspects description, and photos of the stolen property, the injuries, and the suspects known accomplice that were placed on community bulletin boards in laytonville, CA,--with contact numbers- recently, were removed (without the consent of the hosting entities)--this to me, seems to indicate that people with intimate knowledge of the crime or the criminals are in that region.--quite a few tips have indicated that the suspects known accomplice-this 'hatter' person, is 'hiding out', in mendocino county, CA.--the unauthorised removal of the posted flyers seems to bear that out.
with that said: I did NOT edit the letter i published.I cut & pasted it verbatim.typos & mispellings are what they are--however, grammatical errors, are, of course, avoidable, but anyway.:

hey this is ooplik We are acquainted but I just want to stay neutral. The captain would like to arrange a sit down meeting with other family present to discuss some reparations.
Frankly dude WE all just want this to end. The captain is not a junkie or a bad person. We know that you are too.
The captain would like a chance to tell you his side of the story on neutral ground in front of respected family witnesses.
One thing though He says he didn't rob you and that's a serious charge that he could get 35 years for..
Lets just work this out like the peaceful people we all are.
The captain is willing to pay part of your med bills but again insists that the two security guards really beat you down.
The capt feels horrible about this in his words: " I never would have done that to him it was way more than necessary, I really am sorry"
In his defense he is a goo man, but he has severe PTSD hence the xanax so he snaps easily. He is in counseling and has bee since before waka.
He himself was beaten severely in prison and you can imagine what else.
Please aat least respond to me and I will [ass it onto capt. and represent him.

I don't think the truth is ever going to come out here. I'd like to hear Lrob say, clearly, that HE was robbed since that point seems to be in contention. Also, the e-mail he quotes is such bad English language one has to wonder if it was edited. If not, it was done by a person with a serious lack of education.
Lrob, seriously dude, why would you ask somebody 9x in 2 days to stop bothering you about an employee that SHE robbed. Come on! That makes NO sense whatsoever. And if it does, we'd all LOVE to hear it.
Lastly, if someone is seriously trying to make amends here then you shouldn't pass up the opportunity for resolution in this matter. The alternative is retribution through the long arm of the law and how much money are you going to get in that case?

and, as you all can see, by this email: mr 'ooplik', claimed earlier in this thread to 'know the captain, and goes on to say that he is 'not the person i have been describing, HOWEVER, in the email I received from 'ooplik', he claims to be speaking on 'behalf' of 'the captain', and goes on to offer me 'partial reparations', for the medical expenses I incurred.
and of course, attempts to claim 'innocence' of 'parts' of the crime(s).
