Best of '79: Fall Tour Vine

started by dstache

As promised, here is the second installment of the best of 1979. This will replace [at least most of] the shows that were in the absconded Fall 79 vine(s). The vine will consist of 2 DVDs and probably 12 WAV CDs. As with the other vine, I will convert and burn CD's for the first show, and the first 3 people to sign up will have the responsibility of converting and burning CD's for one show each. As with Keith and Donna's last tour, I think the best shows from the Fall tour occur at the beginning. Here are the sources:

79-10-28.sbd.miller.30655
79-10-31.sbd.bertha-ashley.17360

First person to sign up after Marye gives this vine a home, please PM me your info. Enjoy!

I have been listening to 10-27-79

It was the show I converted to cd's. Great show, crystal clear too. I do miss Donna's voice on Jack Straw, especially at the end when the song peaks. Good choices though, I could see the last three(27,28,31) making a great box set someday.

update

This went out today to Lopezz. BTW, if you are only going to get a handful of shows from 1979, these are THE shows to get. The 2d set from 10/25 is very good, and the next three shows, 10/27, 10/28 and 10/31, are GREAT.

Don't forget, the first 3 people need to convert and burn to CD on show each. Enjoy!

Happy to see this come back

Thank you Derek. I think we're all a little older and wiser (and more technically efficient!)
