Obama might have swayed even Jerry to play

Jerry's study of the Urantia Book, no doubt, played a key part in keeping him from doing anythign political. Not because the book is anti-politics, but because there is so much more going on than within our national boundaries. In any event, the crack of daylight shining through the door right now might have gotten him to stand behing Senator Obama. I know I have gotten involved for the first time.

I live in Ojai, California, and we are doing things our own way to help change the world away from war and rumours of war. Our site is: ojaiforobama.com and on the national Obama site our group is under the zip code 93023. There are two groups: Ojai for Barack Obama, and my group Ojai Artists for Barack Obama. We did a concert locally on the 4th of July to raise funds with Jonathan McEuen and Phil Salazar and an all-star line up of bluegrass musicians. Our next concert will be a jazz show with famed singer Julie Christensen (Divine Horsemen, Leonard Cohen) in Ojai set for mid-October-not the 13th!

Please join our groups on the national site and if you live near-by, come by and help out.

Thanks,

Dr. Dave

ask the dead about that..Im

ask the dead about that..Im not the one doing the concert...

judging by all your posts you are not into the whole thing, we get it.......Trust me, if it was your candidate youd be dancing in the streets about this whole thing

Im not the one advocating anything. Im simply pointing out that the dead did not ignore human rights in darfur in the name of throwing money at a millionaire politician..

drawing parallels between darfur and the dead supporting obama as a fun way to express themselves is a pretty big stretch..

its about the exposure and the press in a "battleground" state and for the "cause", not about the money...There not doing because hes out of cash and needy....

Good

Politics divides people...Did the guys get another vote? No. All they did is divide a community who profess to rise above such petty things as politics. Vote for who ever you want and love one another...Do not divide the fan base upon political boundaries, it has never been about that.
Besides, does it make sense to raise money foe a multi-millionaire? Obama rakes in like $10 million a month, it's like taking sand to the beach.
If they are going to do charity it should be for people who need it like the poor decimated people of Darfur, not a muti-multimiliionaire.

The boys need to shut their mouths and let the music do the talking.

Let this thing stay gone and not rear it's ugly head again.

Why would they take it down

Why would they take it down so soon I wonder? Maybe they are going to announce tix sales at the last moment to cut down on crowds at Penn state. just a guess, I don't know.
