Wow-I don't remember the dog tags @ school, but I went there down the penninsula, so I guess we didn't have 'em on penninsula. Remember the fire drills, the sugar cube TB doses (I think it was 4 TB) & going under the desks for some drill-earthquake or the bomb, I guess......will look up the book....& yes, back to the TOPIC ! VOTE, VOTE VOTE!.......we had a foggy Morning Dew today.....xoxoxo Gypsy Cowgirl
Everytime I heard the Dead go into Morning Dew, a quiet would come over the house - one of those "got some things to talk about" moment. When the Dead and I were in grammer school in the 50's every kid in San Francisco wore a "dog tag". It was issued at school and required wearing at school. We had fire drills and atomic bomb drills. For fire you filed outside. For the bomb you filed into the basement and sat against the wall with your knees up and your arms covering your head. I guess Morning Dew is a generational thing. Multi-generational. On the Beach is an excellent book. The Road by Cormac McCarthy, a current novel on the best seller lists is very close to reading Morning Dew. Do not let down on this one HalR and everyone heed Gypsy's "vote, vote, vote". peace & music
Morning Dew by Robert Plant???? OH, boy, can't wait, but will have to later on tonight.....Plumbers still charge too much, but that's ok-look what politicians get paid.......geez............xoxoxo Gypsy Cowgirl
CC's Joe's apparently is NOT Joe, the Plumber......nice joke, though....talk to ya later
didn't know about the Nazareth version till I saw it on youtube after I put up those other versions.

I'm just a Chuckling Cup of Joe, perfect to take along on your walk in the morning dew.
aloha, and peace.
checked 'em both.......devo sounds like...........devo. and to bring this back to the intent of this forum.......i will not vote for either band for president......still wrong?.......um........ they did not play last monday.
nazareth..........wow , guess i could handle that........devo?.......now i'm scared
Thanks for the Morning Dew versions. I also checked out ones by Robert Plant and Nazareth. Everyone puts their all into this song. Bonnie Dobson did mention in the interview that Devo did a version that she didn't think worked.
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.
Nah, I don't begrudge people for charging what they charge (unless it really is too much). But look at this guy - he works hard for a living & makes $40k a year. That's not living high on the hog. HE did work in those counties. HE's a fraud in the 1st degree. I can't believe I'm still wasting energy talking about him!! Hahahaaa....not your fault Johnman - I brought up the silly SOB.

yeah, i believe that was the issue, but i think it said HE didn't work in those counties....tho i'm probably mistaken......and yes gypsy,,,,they do make alot.
ALL plumbers charge too much $$$$ ....xoxoxox Gypsy Cowgirl, fortunate to have a husband who can do small plumbing repairs!
