Marye - do you know Ron? I think a lot of us do even if we are not aware of it! Ron is great. Will see him at a birthday party in 2 weeks in S.F. Before I left to come down here, he copied off everything he had from the boyz vault (which was opened and shared when rumors started to fly about someone selling the catalogue to Sony or some such entity - head 'em off at the pass - y'know?). He and Patti live in a great little house in the Oakland hills but he is still heavily into the dead and making his own CD's as well. Lots of spoken word and lots of help from his friends.. on guitar, piano etc. He has made over 100 CD's of his own stuff.
I am in Mel - Elwood (Blues Brother # 1) actually - and would love to come to a meet here with you guys. Dying to know some of my fellow travelers down here. I'm off to the US June 3rd for 3 weeks.. but maybe when I get back there will be a meet??
