Dear Playing & fellow Canadians

Thanks! I gladly accept the Official Canadian Citizen Award. We visited many times, but only to BC (wanted to go further east, but dad was driving) & I was a young child.
We (hubby & me) had our honeymoon on Victoria Island, though in '94.....last trip up north was in 1998!
when will you be sending the papers? I have many cousins up there, the ones in Alberta-we've never met........"long distance runner" ?? 1 in BC loves the GD
great about your kids dancing!

Official Canadian Citizenship Awarded to Gypsy Cowgirl

Due to your fondness for our Country, your clear sense of good judgement when it comes to music, and a sence I get that you would be an asset to Canada, it is my distinct pleasure to award to you, Gypsy Cowgirl, on behalf of all Canada and all its citizens whether they be Deadheads, crazy bald heads, or no heads (decapitated in horrible car accidents) an honourary (honorary) Canadian citizenship. May you never be hassled at any border between our nations or by any of our citizens.

Sincerely,

Playing in the Tower with Eyes on Fire in El Paso with a Cat

P.S. There is something about California that makes me feel right at home, perhaps partially our accents (or lack thereof depending on point of view) are very similar. While I havn't been in years, I felt very at home there. Also, I am very impressed with California in its leading of environmental initiatives in North America.

P.P.S. had a beautiful moment this morning - I was listening to a 77' dead at a fair volume while showering and I heard a door slam and the music got quieter. When finished I opened the door to my room and found my 2 kids (7 and 6), hopping up and down on my bed, great big smiles on their faces, shinning flashlights on the walls while listening to a fine version of Good Lovin'. What happy loving music. The GD just make me feel so good!

Peace

Passports

On another note,

those of us who will be going on Spring Tour can still use driver's license and birth certificates to cross on land, but new laws will mean that EVERYONE travelling to the US, whether by land or air must have a passport as of JUNE 1, 2009.

That means that Rothbury will only be possible with a passport. Just thought you'd like to know!

Very Punny

Ha! Cheesy but even funny for vegans.

Keep the puns coming! I remember at Copps in Hamilton (March 20,21 1992) there was a hotel across the street with an elaborate lunch menu sandwich board that someone in the know had converted entirely with GDead references. Things like Cold Rain & Snowpeas salad, Loose Juicy, China Cat Sunflower bread... It went on & on... I can't do it justice.

Can-head identity

Sounds like everything you just could be in a canadian beer commercial! So I would say the same + beer = can-head

(nice little stereotype i know)

Ok- fellow Canadians

Although I was technically born here in SF, Ca.- my dad was born & raiaed in Edmonton, Alberta & my grandparents had a farm out there that they homesteaded about 1900 from Europe....the point being that I've always considered myself half a Canook (as told to me by my Canadian cousins).....just sending some love up your way.....xoxo
