The Dead's Musical Evolution

TL asks: How about a thread for discussing the continuing musical evolution of the Dead, that we've all been hearing on this tour? The new styles, brand new tunes, etc.

 So here it is.

The brand new tunes thrown in were like opening a present! Especially Into the Mystic and Imagine. ********************************** It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine

Passing it down.....

You know, its great to see generation to generation listening to the dead:) I was listening to a 1998 further festival 'the other ones ' show earlier and the sound is so different from a 2009 show. There both great. Jeff fits in perfect on keys with the boyz. I can honastly say that I couldn't think of a better person then Warren on guitar, man, Warren is a beast on guitar! I love the late 70s shows, that distinctive sound on keys. The boyz definately got it goin on with this tour. I really hope to see a fall tour, maybey with Hunter on vocals:) Peace- Moye
