Ease up dude. There could be something wrong. Questioning if he is "man enough" is harsh, especially if you don't know for a fact what is up? If it is a bad link to the vines maybe a discussion should be in place on how it should be taken care of.......just an idea.....

well I started this one so I feel a little protective about it and I know some people down the line are desperate to get it. I have seen reedchris listed as being on here more than once recently (ie in the past week) so I suspect he is aware of the situation. I have no idea if he is inefficient, selfish, has some unspecified problem or is maybe reacting badly to being called out like this. Perhaps it would be a good idea to offer a vine amnesty to him, stop shouting at him, give him a clear week to get things moving or offer an explanation. Send him a PM to that effect and post it on all vines where he seems to be holding things up. If there is no progress then I suggest he is removed from vines and kind people are asked to reseed. Not much else one can do, and there is no point in getting too aggravated is there? Just a suggestion

Hey Now Stuman ~ I know that your just trying to keep things moving along, which is cool, but I also know that reedchirs has been vining for some time & not had any issues before. He is a very kind Soul. He has helped me out & when I had to step off the vine trail for a while sent me pms etc.. to make sure I was doing okay. Yes I want this dang vine, but it is Snail Mail after all & I can wait. Let's just enjoy this & "stay cool honey bunny.." Badger is right ~ Take it easy :) PEACE

And I can empathize with the frustration with vines disappering or being delayed. We just have to try to work it out and communicate with one another. I do think that when these things happen and no one knows what is up, that is how vines get 'lost' or "frozen" and that is a shame. Then viners drop out and the whole network will shrivel up and be much less than it could be. My paternal 2 cents worth. cosmicbadger are you willing to re-seed this vine ? if I do as you said and post on the vines he has , then i get accused of being a dick ..pm`s get ignored.. and I have posted on a few vines and I got no response from anyone ..(until now) I asked for re-seeds of these vines and also got no response.(Ltapilot has sent me one of the missing vines) I did pm some folks that did receive this vine , also no response .... I have some really nice stuff I could vine out ,, (Orlando shows,Philly shows ect..) but all this with reedchris has kept me from doing so , I don`t want to seed it just to see it die... I just want to see the vines grow .. I want to see everyone get a fair chance to enjoy the wonderful music Jerry left behind for us .. well, i guise thats all i have to say .. Def need to chill, Chris was far from any of the problems on here, and some of us actually have jobs and families that come before the music. Jerry would be happy that everyone is still enjoying his music but I think he would be asking you to take a step back and re-adjust your attitude and sensitivity towards fellow dead family members. There could be a million excuses. But I don't feel that there is any reasonable excuse for verbally assaulting a fellow member of dead.net. I'm here because I'm very comfortable around all of you. I know this is a vine forum, but it is within that spirit of the living vine that I would like to say something. This is not a happy moment. We are about to lose one of our friends. This is a sad day in the vines. This garden cannot survive without love and respect. It will wither and die. We are all friends here, all connected by a common vine. Frustrations can and do arise, as they do among family and friends. It is imperative to remember we are all friends sharing a common love for a band and a way of life that has been both given to us and made by us. Tolerance is one of the cornerstones of this life. Give your friends a ride, help them when they need a hand, treat them with respect and above all just understand,sometimes a little understanding will lead to a better world. I hope to see all of us vining again soon, all of us. The key word is us.

We are all flawed individuals (my hand is raised) and being part of this community (see pkpotter's post) of flawed individuals we all do 'fuck up' on a regular basis. This conflict isn't one to 'win', it is one to learn from and go on. Hi, The Enter the Matrix vine arrived today (with the 1st anniversary vine), strained my back hauling it out of the mailbox. It hurts, but it's a good kind of hurt. I'm going to have to discuss sending this to LIG71 in France with the senior viners before sending it out - reference my post in Technical Discussions. I'll keep y'all posted.
