no offense taken

no offense taken, dude. none at all.

which one correct response are you talking about? Round 3?

Round 1 and Round 2 (both answered correctly) are in the other thread, the spinning free thread of the dancing in the street area. after that, izzie provided us with this area for more fun and games.

if you (or anyone else) would like to take a stab at Calling the Tune of Round 4, please do so...

for the sake of convenience, here is Round 4 again:

peace.

Trader X

CC Joe, no offense intended, from one "geezer" to another. It's apparent that most of the "co-occupants"on this forum are unfamiliar with this song, but having been introduced to the Dead in '77 with Terrapin Station and a fortunate "traveler" during the '77-'78 tour, I can't beleive there has only been one (previous) correct response.

Keep at it - it'll come to you!

no

trust me when I say I can not identify the genre of this tune, and knowing the show era would really, really not help. in fact, it would confuse contestants more...

I imagine an in the darker is a touch head, I was commenting on that based on what Trader X said.

I love new blood and youngins' we, (allow me to use that 'we' collectively) we the geezers need new blood to keep this circus on the road. I love it when new folks get into the dead, and if they started to get it because of in the dark or touch of greay, so be it.

I realize my request for "which show" was maybe a tad presumptuous, but how 'bout this ... something a little more broad, such as ... '80-'85 or maybe even the year! Or maybe, is it a Jerry, Bob or Brett tune. If not, that's cool, but I shall forever remain an "In the Darker" - what's an "In the Darker"? Lo sabre

"From day to day, just lettin' it ride,
You get so far away from how it feels inside,
You can't let go, 'cause you're afraid to fall,
But the day may come when you can't feel at all."
