I have now lost count of the number of reasons why I am not a true deadhead. I love the Dead, I saw them whenever I could and I listen to them just about every day. Apparently not enough in some folks' eyes!
Anyway consider this compilation a great free sampler of the works of Jerry. If you like what you hear, quite a few complete (or near complete) shows are out in the Pure Jerry series, available from the store right here. Some also in the Vineyard. The 19 minute '4th Street' on disc 2 has already got me chasing down that show (12/21/79)
I made a similar comment when Badger first posted this vine.
I guess when I listen to Europe 72, I am also not a true Deadhead. Oh well, different strokes for different folks.
"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence."
Albert Einstein
If this is in the vineyard does it mean Jerry is spinning in his grave and the we aren't Real Deadheads (see the comments on every Road Trips)
