Really? If true, what a shame. It seems like just a few months ago the dead.net store had an awesome, shortly announced one-day sale going on where you got free shipping on top of a 20% discount and they were all available.
Road Trips, in my opinion, had some great selections over a wide period and great packaging with the least amount of miscues in all aspects associated with it.
Maybe that is why some of them sold out. $100 on Amazon seems more than a little stiff. Hope everybody gets what they want for Christmas!!!
Im trying to shop the store and all I get on there is the Almanac. Also it looks like some of the RT are gone? Will they be replaced? I remember getting an email for some a couple months back saying less teh 500 left and I bought those. Why wasnt an email sent out about the other ones and low quantities. Im not trying to gripe but they are $100 on Amazon
dead.net's front page sez the current jam of the week is a clip from 12.31.69.
IIt would be spectacular to hear that but for 2nd week in a row, when i click the 'read more' link, the site says the search failed.
Is this happening to anyone else?
What;s happening wbmasters?
When will you have cd.s in the store that you can purchase? All you have in there is sold out stuff
I'd really appreciate some info on the store. I'd really like to support the site and all, but if there is no update soon, I'm reluctantly going to have to go to Amazon or some such to see if I can locate some stuff I'd like to get that was readily available on the old site but now is not.
Have to buy it, get it shipped, and then ship it out. Need a month's leeway at least.
Even if the response is:" I have no idea when the new store will be up and fully running." Or even: "What you see is what you get with the new store. These titles are the extent of it." I could just go head with a clear conscience.
Will upcoming releases still be in the HDCD format? Like Dave's Picks and others?
Will there be a Dick's Picks bundle package of all the Dick's Picks releases, like there use to be? If so will it be out before Xmas?
Really, many of mine have that.. it displays on my tv. For example I just put in Frank Zappa Hot Rats. it displays:
Disc Artist: Frank Zappa
Disc Title: Hot Rats
Track Title: Peaches En Regalia
Track Type: CDDA
Channel Type: Stereo 44.1k 16b
this is very common but yes not all discs have it but since these are new releases I would think it would have been done since it is simple to do.
but I cannot think of a single CD I own that displays title (as contrasted to track) information when playing on a CD player, so I'm not sure any such standard exists.
