about how much memory, or how big are the privte message in-boxes and out-boxes??
anyway to add somthing that will tell us when they are getting full??
I'd like to keep the old messages around, but I do not want a new message to get sent back because the box was full unbeknownst to me.
thankx.
peace.
Anyone else remember "Zero Zero Island"?
Personally, I'm totally no pressure about getting these bugs et al worked out - good job, everyone involved. I was trying to be funny, but I am happy to give feedback re: my experiences here on dead.net.
An hour off San Francisco time?? I thought it was an hour off Seatlle time. Hmmmm.
Thanks (((marye)))!
I thought maybe there was someplace that is the Axis an hour time zone away from here. LOL!
Especially since when we were doing the private beta last week it appeared to be on GMT. Oh well!
Hi, why is the time an hour off from SF time. Actually an hour west of me is someplace in the pacific between SF and Hawaii, i.e.,S F is 5:06 and Hawaii is 2:06 but the time posted when I posted my last post was 4:06 - it was 5:05 here in SF, which would put the website's time an hour west of me. hmmm...
Please check the FAQ section in Before You Get Started in the Welcome Mat area for details.
Short version, we're trying to get things working, and trying to do so with a manageable number of topics. We're also trying to build a system that works for people who come from a lot of different systems with a lot of different features. On some (DNC, for example) you can't create topics at all. On others (the Well, for example) you can.
We already have some people complaining there are too many topics. We have others complaining because they can't start 'em. We don't know at this point what it will look like long term.
Meanwhile, if you want a particular topic, send a Private Message to me or izzie, and we'll do our best to get it going. Thank you.
Any one know why the site wont let me post a new forum topic?

I dunno, but it's a good question. I'll ask the tech folks.
