CCJoe: is there a way to NOT go back to the first page of a thread after making a post?
Not that I've been able to find you. I have learned, though, that if you want to Reply to a particular post, and use the Repy option, it puts that original post alone on your screen so you can see it, no matter where on the page you were when you found it.
I've also learned that the All Recent Posts button there on Dead.Community gets you to a screen with, who knew, all the recent posts marked as

in another thread that is now 2 pages long, after i posted something, it automatically took me back to the start of the thread rather than to my post (the end of the thread)
I'm with Dire Wolf on this one . . . I can somewhat understand that the folks behind the scenes here might be interested in demographics of the inhabitants of this place . . . I can also see where it might be helpful to the inhabitants who hope to market what they do or even perhaps themselves . . . however, it is kind of creepy knowing that the general populace might be able to avail themselves of someones home address . . .

Dire has a very valid point. I'm not sure how publicly visible your street address would be on your profile, but you truly might want to check it out.
