I tuned into one recently (on KBCS, from Bellevue, WA - which also runs a show called "Back Tracks" that plays mostly GD) and I got to hear that symphonic Dead! Great interview followed and the MSG show in the first half hour was great quality radio. I'm just a, well...porpoise.

I haven't worked it out to do an official podcast yet, but it could happen. In the meantime, I am semi-secretly making it available to people who can't hear it over the air. Email david@gdhour.com for more info.

Years ago my local radio station skipped over the GDhour show, which featured 5-17-77 end of first set. A top High Time in my opinion. I had recorded the other portions and was looking forward to that show because of the Sunrise and High Time. I missed out, but emailed him and he replied & eventually I got a copy of that program in the mail. Kind of funny, this is the first time I used this forum to post a comment and when I was checking my GDRadio app on my itouch, guess what show is playing right now 5-17-17 thanks again. You provided many enjoyable Sunday nights in Columbus, Ohio for me.

Berkeley’s pioneering listener-supported radio station, KPFA, presents its annual Grateful Dead fund-raising marathon on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 9:00 am to 1:00 am PST. Host David Gans promises a bounty of unreleased and previously-unheard music by the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia, and related artists. There will be a live performance (musicians TBA) from the KPFA studio. THe marathon will be webcast on kpfa.org, nugs.net, and gdradio.net RIght now we're auctioning off some wonderful photographs (and an opportunity to become a chocolatier for a day!). Bidding is open now, and the auctions end on February 6. Please take a look at the items and place your bids in the comments section of each post.

I've been hosting a weekly GD two-hour radio show for over ten years, and I'd like to share the set lists here, but I see that the forum has been locked. Why is that?

Ever a thought of doing a boxset of key/significant GD radio hours...i.e. band member interview episodes...
