The Holiday Season

By suggestion...

The holiday season is upon us. You know, Thanksgiving, the solstice, Chanukah, Christmas, and that season that brought us all to Oakland every year, New Year's...

Got plans? Got strong feelings about the season? Tell all!

Happy Soltsice, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years

to all who vist this site. It has been wonderfull to get to know so many of you and even meet some of you. Another chapter in life's journey. Joy, peace and love to all.

If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

Peace to you and yours, Johnman

And also out to the rest of our extended deadhead family.
Take care all, travel safe, and spread the love/joy!

Holiday vacation

Started my holiday vacation today. We're sitting here with a foot and a half of snow! Not really used to that here in VA. It's been thirty years since we've had this much snow here in December! Everything's shut down. The really ironic thing is that we have a friend coming in from Wisconsin to spend Christmas "down south". We haven't been able to pick her up at the train station but she is safely in a motel and we'll be able to pick her up tomorrow. Probably not what she expected! Anyway, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa and a great Winter Solstice to all! Oh yeah, Happy New Year too. Be sure to enjoy some tapes of vintage NYE shows!

OK Garcia family...

... Hope you daughters are having a nice holiday. I just walked into a JC Penney and saw J. Garcia men's dress shirts along with J. Garcia ties. Now, I'll admit I used to wear black t-shirts. But, when it came to men's fashion, Jerry was not my role model.

I know, I know -- it's a big joke. I get it. As long as Jerry would have approved, I guess.
