1982-04-10 Jerry solo acoustic
Hi Everyone-
Its been a while since I started a vine so I thought I'd get this one going.
I forget all the particulars of this Jerry show but off the top of my head, here's a brief summary. Jerry and John Kahn were doing a brief tour together (just the two of them) and Kahn fell ill. Hence, Jerry acoustic solo for one night only! Included here are the early show and the two sets of the late show that Jerry played. This night was a real treat for anyone who attended.
The quality of these audio recordings is good, not great like the recent sbds we've been vining. And also, more troubling is the Rueben and Cherise encore of the second show that fades out. Every time I listen to it, I get annoyed about it, but being a completist, or in this case, partial completist, I'm going to include it here. Despite those facts, I consider this show to be a must have.
Early show:
Deep Elem Blues, Freight Train > Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie, Gomorrah,
Dire Wolf, Little Sadie, Stagger Lee, Valerie, Been All Around This World, To Lay Me Down, Run For The Roses, Ripple, E: Rubin And Cherise
Late show:
Set 1: Jack a Roe, Going Going Gone, Dire Wolf, Gomorrah, Run For The Roses, Friend Of The Devil, Oh Babe It Ain't No Lie, Rosa Lee McFall, Sing Me Back Home, Deep Elem Blues
Set 2: It Takes A Lot To Laugh It Takes A Train To Cry, Ballad Of Casey Jones, China Doll* > Ripple, E: Rubin And Cherise (fades)
*only China Doll for Jerry Band
I went back several pages to make sure this is the complete, accurate list of everyone yet to receive. The numbers are adjusted to account for the people who asked to be skipped.

...but I don't know if he's been active lately, you may want to PM him to make sure. We know stuman, TNHG and joneb are still around, haven't seen anything recent from Irie333 and it's all good from me on down.
The Big O' is the man. Can't thank you enough. This show did sound like a rare treasure, and was/is a big part of some Christmas presents I'm putting together for some friends. Between this and the JGB/LOM/Reconstruction shows I hooking up some bro's with "A Jerry Little Christmas".
Thanks again,
MarkintheDark
