I was looking at the Time Out New York website and I came across this shirt pictured on its website. Click/copy on the link for a look.
It is a great book and I throw my support behind it also. Check it out folks, its a good read.
I'm reading the new book by Jesse Ventura called "Don't Start The Revolution Without Me". Talking about the two-party system Jesse says: " I like to quote the late great Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, who said, " If your made to pick the lesser of two evils, it means you're still pickin' evil."
I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in politics.
wotta mess. Though she doesn't seem like a prime mover in this one. What a family saga. Love to see a pic of her grandpa running Bay to Breakers in a Reds uniform though.
Another Koons lawsuit....not Jerry related....but maybe explains some things

Shelves in the bedroom for the vault recordings, a view of alpine valley to the northish, and good old San Francisco to the west, a chef's kitchen and A triangle office! .......................
Hmmmmm.... A triangle office, just in time for the Egypt release. Very fitting.
Eyes of the world.
You find the darnest things by checking that On the Web link (on the top left, under Community). Seems to bring in whatever people are saying about the Dead online at the moment, which can be weird spam and can be pretty interesting.
Was reading a book yesterday called the Devils Teeth, by Susan Casey, about her time spent on the Farallon Islands, 30 miles west of San Francisco, with people reasearching the Great White sharks that congregate there every fall. One of them told her about the time that a big powerboat with Jerry's friends and relatives came out to the Farallones in big swells to spread Jerry's ashes. He had been told they were coming and him and another watched from the island as it happened. The next day the guy spotted a new Great White and they named it Jerry Garcia, but after a couple years it was eaten by Orcas. The story is on p.184. Ya learn something new every day!
