Cinco de Mayo in Chicago: the boys return to their old stomping grounds at the former Rosemont Horizon for two nights, May 4 and 5.
I don't know their policy but there are going to be so many other people in that area I don't know how they could tell if you were a registered guest or not. So, to answer your question sure come on by and hang out.
I just made my reservations at the Holiday Inn like 3/4 of a mile from the venue. I'll be driving a 1970 white Westy with IN plates feel free to stop by I'm sure there will be plenty of heads staying there! love, peace, and Volkswagen grease, Andy
That Nice Hippie Guy is also cool, so no major mistake :-)

It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine
Just curious, Is that code for a place where I can park my van and hang out with fellow heads?

I too am going to the Chicago 5/5 show and would like to meet you. You seem to live up to your name. I am travelling w/ my soulmate and my son. You look to be about his same age. Closer to show time maybe we can make some arrangements.

I can't wait to be in Chicago at the last place Jerry played before he died. This is going to be one memerable night for everyone. I cant wait to get on the open road and set up shop at the venue. Cant wait to see all of you out there.
Love&Peace Willow
This will be my first dead show and I will be taking the bus up there by myself. If anyone wants to hang out before the show let me know.
I cant wait!
Peace,
Trevor

Hi all -
I tried the fax-mail order this year for the 5/4 Allstate show. Anyone have any idea how to check the status of these orders?
Hmmm.
Thanks!

Ahhh...sadly I will not join you folks in the windy city....but reading those posts brought back fond memories of the last time The Grateful Dead performed. Geez...even as a new school seein shows for about 5 years I was apalled that I had to pay FIFTY bucks for that show (all you old schoolers are laughing remembering the $3-7 dollar shows). Now it's what...I don't even know...and your not even paying for thick air!! (and ARE paying for Warren Haynes...go figure).
But that has little to do with this post. Geee...it was soooo beautiful...I remember the last So Many Roads....and I don't know if it was the hallucinogens or WHAT (hee-hee), but I swear during the chorus that I was elevated (yup, just like David Blaine) about a foot in the air with my eyes closed. I'm not even sure the tear that fell from my face hit the ground.
