Life Motto for Deadheads everywhere

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive and well preserved body, but RATHER to skid in sideways, CHOCOLATE in one hand, a MARTINI in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOOHOO, WHAT A RIDE!!!

I should be there for both

I should be there for both shows, if I can scratch up enough gas $...already have hotel for both nights and a ticket for the second...and antsy as hell about my mail order for the 4th...
It's my B-day on the 3rd...wahoo! Closest I've been to a dead show on my Birthday.

Hopefully chicago's finest will be a little more easygoing than the last time I was at rosemont (93).
See y'all there!

Oh, and BTW...I'm coming

Oh, and BTW...I'm coming down from NW Wisconsin, alone...if any cool people need a ride, and can chip in for gas, that would be most excellent.

5/4 should be coming soon

5/5 will be my first Dead show too! And I got on the bus after you (just hopped on this year!), "that nice hippy guy" so nyah *with affection mind you*... At any rate, all I can say is that it feels like I've found a new religion. It is quite interesting. Although it sounds like maybe I should ask for the day after the concert off if a party might actually find me. heehee

Another here, going to

Another here, going to Wrigley for the game on Tuesday...hoping like hell that the boys come sing the stretch...even they root for the Giants to "Let's get some runs!"

Staying at the Holiday Inn Select and taking my dad, age 70, to his first Dead show. I took my mom in '04 before she passed away.
