Meet Me in Chicago
Cinco de Mayo in Chicago: the boys return to their old stomping grounds at the former Rosemont Horizon for two nights, May 4 and 5.
looking for a ride from the atlanta area have a room willing to share as well as pay for gas.
You should have no problem walking from there. There will be a lot of people walking in from the hotels. :):):)
hey Now, All... Just a word of Caution, The Rosemont police can be pricks! They can also be bought. just an FYI. There's a kickass band called Mr. Blotto playing after the Monday night show at the Kinetic Playground @ Lawrence & Broadway. I'm pretty sure it's across from the Riveria theater. They are going on around 12:30am and plan on playing a long time. It's going to be a full band all acoustic show that you won't want to miss!! Hope to see you all there!! Worchester and Wilkes-Barre were smokin shows! Can't wait to see what they lay down in Chi-Town! Look for me at the show...I'll be the one in the tye dye!! LOL!! Peace to all!!
Hey Now, All! There's a kickass band playing after the Monday night show calleds Mr. Blotto. They're playing at the Kinetic Playground @ Lawrence & Broadway. They are doing a full band acoustic show, and they're going on @ 12:30am. Worchester and Wilkes-Barre were awesome, although I could've done with a lot less hippie crack on the scene @ Worchester! It just makes us all look bad. I love the techno-Jammy thing that the boys are doing going into drums with the samples...
My boyfriend and I are staying at the Best Western O'Hare is anyone else staying there? And does anyone know if you can walk to the venue from there? They said it was 3 blocks from the venue but I wasn't sure if there was a sidewalk. Any help would be grately appreciated :)
any looking for some space during the weekend before the shows ther e is a cool park in mt.prospect called melas about ten miniutes from show having get together all during weekend corner of central and bussy big park good vibes bring drums free parking peace and love
No alcohol allowed...so be armed with a nice tall fast food drink cup or otherwise incognito container. In 93' the cops at Rosemont would just take the beer bottles from the people drinking them, and smash them on the pavement...
I called allstate again...Kinda doubting the campin thing now...There is no tents, and no alcohol allowed. Thinkin hotel might be a better option now. The parking lot opens at 10a.m. on the 4th. When i called they said they will have a grilling area available and restrooms. The options are available i guess i will have to decide!
Last time I was @ Rosemont, GD’93, they made you go directly into the show. There was no tailgating. Security was really tight. Hope things have changed! Gonna party inside 4 sure!
Allstate will be allowing people to camp on May 4th only. $75.00 for the night (per spot, not per Head). I think this is a great idea for us Heads...We could all be together for a night and have a wonderful time. Can't wait to see you all there!!!
